Dr. Tamara Jackson

Dr. Jackson has been practicing periodontics and implant dentistry in Hamilton, Ontario since 2000. She is a Board Certified Periodontist and obtained her Specialty Degree in Periodontics and Masters in Health Sciences from The Medical University of South Carolina in 2000. During her residency she served as Chief Resident, was inducted into the College of Health Professions Honor Society and received the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Academic Performance.

She obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The University of Iowa College of Dental Medicine in 1997 and her Bachelors of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1993.

In 2005 Dr. Jackson achieved Diplomate status from the American Board of Periodontology; a distinction given to a periodontist who has undertaken requirements and examination beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty.

Her past academic appointments include clinical instructor from 2000-2004 within the Undergraduate and Graduate Department of Periodontal Clinics at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry and the Department of Periodontics at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Dr. Jackson is a founding member of the Comprehensive Dental Study Club of Hamilton. Her professional memberships include:
